About
Iris

Life is often described in seasons, almost as if a different version of you existed in each one. The person you were then. The person you became after. The person you are becoming now.

Iris exists to help bring those pieces into a more integrated whole — who you are, who you have been, and who you are becoming.

As that integration happens, the way you relate to your history, your current circumstances, the people in your life, and most importantly, yourself can begin to shift. Life can feel less divided into separate chapters and more like a connected story you are still actively shaping.

Transformation is not a process of replacing who you are. It is seeing, relating, and living from a renewed perspective.

The
Approach

Coaching with Iris is one-to-one and takes place by phone. Sessions are one hour and generally scheduled every two weeks. You will begin with either a three-month commitment of six sessions or a six-month commitment of twelve sessions.

When you begin working with Iris, you’ll start by defining the result you want to create and the vision you have for your life. We’ll also get clear about where you are now and candidly discuss what is and isn’t moving you toward that result.

Our conversations will be direct. I will listen for the assumptions, patterns, and conclusions shaping how you see your circumstances, and offer what I notice when they may be limiting your choices or undermining the result you want to create.

Insight is a powerful first step toward transformation. Without action, though, it isn’t much more than a fun fact about yourself. What you do with that awareness is your responsibility. This could mean making a difficult decision, having an honest conversation, showing up differently, or tolerating discomfort and uncertainty—to name a few.

Your vision will remain the reference point, allowing you to look honestly at your results and evaluate whether you’re moving toward it—or continuing to produce more of what you say you don’t want.

Who Iris
Is For

Iris is for the person who is responsible for results and cares about their impact. You count on yourself, and more than likely, others do too. You understand that what you produce extends beyond you. Whether with clients, in leadership, at home, or in other relationships, how you show up matters. So you figure things out. You make decisions, solve problems, and do what needs to be done.

At the same time, some areas of your life are not where you would like them to be. Perhaps you want greater visibility at work, deeper connections with your family or friends, or more time to care for yourself. You know what you want to be different and yet find that nothing you have tried has created lasting change.

There are also plenty of honest reasons why—and real obstacles in the way. You already have more than enough on your plate. Something else always requires your attention. Leadership isn’t open to feedback. That person will never change.

Those reasons can be entirely honest. Have you considered there may be more than one truth? Are there assumptions, survival patterns, or biases influencing what you currently see? If so, would you want to know?

Iris is for the person willing to look closely at what is shaping their results, take responsibility for their part in them, and examine what is needed to create something different.

Coach &
Founder

I'm Heather, the coach and founder of Iris Coaching.

Before I discovered the world of transformational coaching, I had built a career, a marriage, and a family with four children. I knew how to carry responsibility, solve problems, and do what needed to be done. I spent much of my life building a system that needed me—so much so that almost everything began to feel like an obligation rather than a gift to hold responsibly.

Through coaching, I recognized that the way my life was ordered was not simply a matter of chance. I had a hand in creating that system, and I began to see the ways being needed had served me. As I've learned to separate how I survived from who I actually am, I've found a new sense of freedom and passion.

Iris exists as an expression of that freedom and passion. I don't coach from a place of arrival. I am still doing this work in my own life. I listen, ask questions, offer feedback, and challenge what you've been tolerating—up until now.

Working
Together

If you’re interested in working with Iris, the first step is a short intake form. It gives me a little context about what you’re looking for and what you are hoping to get out of coaching.

From there, I’ll follow up within three business days to coordinate a conversation of up to 30 minutes. The purpose of that call is simple: to learn more about where you’re at and where you want to go, answer questions, and confirm whether working together is a good fit.

Iris opens its doors to clients in November 2026. Founder pricing will be available for a limited number of early clients.
